Introducing your little one to solid foods is an exciting milestone, but it can also be a daunting one. That's why we're here to make it easy and delicious with our dairy-free Banana Spinach Pancakes recipe, perfect for baby-led weaning!

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • 1.5 cup rolled oats
  • 1 large handful of fresh spinach leaves
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened oat milk (or any non-dairy milk of your choice)
  • 1Ā tsp baking powder
  • 1Ā tsp cinnamon

Method:

  1. Blend: In a blender or food processor, combineĀ all ingredients.

  2. Heat: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with olive or coconut oil.

  3. Pour: Pour into a squeeze bottle forĀ smaller portioned pancakes (great for tiny hands) Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until bubbles start to form on the surface.Ā 

  4. Flip: Carefully flip the pancakes and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes on the other side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  5. Serve: Remove the pancakes from the skillet and let cool slightly before serving. Serve in your favourite Snackie

  6. Store:Ā Freeze any leftovers in an air-tight container for easy snacks on the go!
